Summer love!

Hey guys :) It's been way too long.
My summer classes are over and I can finally say that I am in Summer break.
I'm still working, but not having to worry about school for a while is great.

I love summer!
I think everyone looks great during the summer!
The sun, the warm air, everything just encourages beauty!

I personally love summer because it's the season to have lovely glowing skin!
I'm also a big fan of tanned skin.
Naturally, I have fair skin which does not tan easily or much at all.

This year since the spring I have steadily been going to a tanning bed to get a good base tan for my skin.
Yes I know all about the "dangers" of tanning beds, but I think it was a good decision on my part.
Having a good base tan will prevent your skin from being burnt from the Sun's rays.

Now I have a slightly tan skin that won't burn so easily in the natural light =)!

Girls take care of your skin when you are tanning or going outside!
Make sure to always have sunscreen on your face. We don't want to our skin to age so quickly do we?
My favorite moisturizer to use in the summer time is..
Hawaiian Tropic Dark Tanning Oil

I absolutely love this stuff!
1) Yummy coconut smell!
2) So moisturizing!
3) Awesome tanning oil!
4) It also gives my legs that sexy summery glow! xD

Cons? I guess the fact it has no sun protection :/

If anyone out there is looking for a great tanning oil or just a moisturizer for the summer time, I really recommend this!

Long time no update

Hey guys =)
I've been really bad about this updating thing.
My mom is finally back from Korea from her month long vacation ^^.
No more full time work for me :]
It's not ideal for me at the moment because of my summer class! But that's ending @ June16, which I'm totally excited about lol.

I've been looking into buying some new contacts!
I love the color of the contacts rosebabe888 wears in almost all of her youtube videos! She has gorgeous eyes!

These contacts are from the brand Freshkon, and they are called groovy green. :O What a cool name... I love how these lenses are forest-green, not light green.

However, I'm having a hard time finding a reliable seller for these lenses because they are an Asian Brand.

meh oh well!
If anyone has tried Freshkon lenses could you tell me how you like them? :]] comfort and color wise!

I just wanted to update with a little survey ^^.
On soompi.com/forums, I am doing a survey on
NYX cosmetics && Crown Brushes.

What is a survey?

Alpha Hydroxy Cream && Update

Hey guys.
Week after school has been great!
Since my mom went to South Korae for a month on vacation, I am responsible for working at our store instead of her! (40 hrs a week) yikes
Anywho, just wanted to update with a lil talk about alpha hydroxy cream

Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA). What is it?
Alpha Hydroxy Acid is mostly made of Latic and Glycolic acid and is found in fruit-bearing plants.
They are often referred to as: Fruit acids.

What does AHA do for my skin?
AHA is a primary ingridient found in Alpha Hydroxy Creams/ Lotions. (Duh)
The AHA helps with skin regeneration.
Skin discoloration, uneven, bumpy skin... moisture, reduce stretch marks!
That's great! How does AHA work?
The AHA burns off your dead skin cells which are at the surface.
Once they are gone, the healthier skin underneathe are exposed and will improve skin texture and color. Also it will promote the skin to be more receptive to absorbing water, and therefore moisturizers will take more effect.
Your skin may feel like its dry at first, but after a couple weeks of using alpha hydroxy products, you'll definitely see changes!

Once you stop using AHA, your skin will go back to its past state because there is no more skin regeneration promotion.

I've been using Alpha Hydroxy Cream for a while now. And I gotta say I love it.
It's a wonderful product and it really does help make my face feel smoooth and look much cleaner.

♥Tutorial♥ Purple and Gold Clubbin.

Hi Guys!

I'm back, but with a tutorial this time!
And we will be going for.. this look!:

I call it the purple and gold clubbin` look. Because it would look gorgeous on a night out no?

Products I used:

1) Miss Rose - Wet/shimmer 40 Eyeshadow Palette
2) Rimmel - Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil - 061 JET BLACK
3) Rimmel - Lycra Lash Extender Mascara - 001 BLACK
4) Wet n` Wild - Mega liner (Liquid) - Black
5) MAC - Vanilla Pigment
6) Jane e/s- Eye Zing - Clubbing
7) NYX e/s -Snow Cone

1) Revlon Liquid Foundation Colorstay w/ Softflex - Sand Beige
2) Maybelline Dream Matte Pressed Powder - Cream (Light 4-5)
3) MAC Studio Fix concealer - NC20

1) Revlon Skinlights w/ SPF15 - 01 Natural Light (Highlighter)
2) E.L.F. Blush and Bronzing Powder

let's begin!

First , it's important to start of with a nice clean and moisturized face.

Conceal. Blemishes, Dark circles, the works. I concealed my dark circles and the shadows that my nose creates.
I used foundation and set it with powder for an airbrushed finish look!

I forgot to add this product, but I used NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Black bean as a base for my eyeshadow. With a black base, my purple color will pop much better than just on my bare skin.

Using a Lilac- Purple color, appld all over your lid.
I used a color from my Miss Rose palette, but you can use any shimmery light lilac color!
Since this is a night out look, we want a very shimmery color.

Using NYX 24 karat e/s and a crease brush, apply this to the crease of your eyes.
I used MAC's vanilla pigment on my brow bone, and brought it down to meet the gold color.
Blend.

Using Wet n' Wild's Liquid eyeliner, line above your eye and extend the line out past your eye.

Line along the bottom on your lash line half way using the liquid liner.
For the water line, use a pencil liner (i prefer this method).

Now using Jane E/S in Clubbing (which is a sparkly black) and a precision brush, Line your upper eyeliner for a more smokey look. Apply the clubbing eyeshadow on the bottom half way.

Here, I wanted to create a more dramatic look, so I used Jane e/s in clubbing in the area circled.
Apply, and blend.

Next, using NYX e/s in Snow Cone- and a small precision brush, apply to the inner corner of your eyes.
This step will help give your eyes a more "open" look!

Now we are all done with our eyemakeup!
I love fake lashes, especially for a night out.
For this look I'm going to use my ELF Diamond Eyelashes.
You have to get them in a set of "Flirty Eyelash Palette" that comes with dramatic eyelashes from E.L.F.
I love criss cross lashes, I think they suit me the best. These falsies have circles of sparkles on them to attract more attention to your gorgeous eye!

Apply glue to the bone of the lashes, stick em on your eye and wait to dry...

Ta- da!

The finished look!

Now you're ready for a night out with the girls ;) Or guys too I guess o.0 lol.

After seeing rosebabe888's youtube video of her new palettes, I fell in love with the Miss Rose Eyeshadow palettes...
However, being a Chinese brand.. I couldn't really get a hold of any of their products.
Until, of course I came across one of their 40-eyeshadow palette's on ebay!!!
It was very random, because the Name of the brand wasn't in the description.
But some pics for a friend on makeupalley =)! hehe

A very cute plastic - matte black case.
In Gold, the Company's name is in the middle!

Without flash:

Look how pretty they are!
These are all wet/shimmer eye shadows.
That means that they are Super pigmented, Super shimmery.

Anywho!

The texture of these eyshadows are spongy. Like if you poke against it, it'll push down.
It almost feels like there is alot of moisture in the eyeshadows themselves to make them feel "wet". They are quite easy to blend.
The eye shadows also have a bit of a fragrance... I don't mind it since I actually like the smell but it reminds me of cosmetics from asian brands.

I got all this palette for $7.95 with about $3.95 U.S. shipping!
Less than $20 for a 40 color palette with this much pigmentation and quality?
Awesome deal right there.

If you can find a miss rose wet shimmer palette of any size! go for it! =)

MAC Hello Kitty

Finally! Spring break :)
I'm done with my mid-terms and I have some time now to put up another review!

So as most of you guys may already know,
The MAC hello kitty line has been out available to the U.S. for quite some time now =)
I went to pick up my stuff on the 14th, but I haven't shown it yet!
Here's my damage:

Woot!
MAC really hurts my wallet, but the moment they teamed up with Sanrio, I knew I was a goner :).
I bought the Lipsticks in
Cute'ster
Fashion Mews
Fresh Brew .

Cute'ster is a lustre lipstick (I love the MAC lustre line)
Anywho, It's a very faint pink, very fresh color.
Unfortunately, this may be my least favorite lipstick out of the whole line...
The lipstick itself isn't very special to me, and so .... bland.
This is currently up for swap in my MUA account.

Fashion Mews is a Glaze lipstick in a purple color.
Very faint purple.
This is my favorite lip color from the whole line!
Looking at the pictures from the MAC site I thought it would be a dark-I'm freezing my butt off-purple, but it really isn't.
This color is so pretty I'm probably going to get a back up of it soon!

Fresh Brew Is another Lustre/Glaze (I cannot remember) lipstick in a light nudy/light brown.
I love the light nude-brown color for the lips.
It's a really nice toned down lipstick for a smokey eyes look.
It's not a warm-red brown, which I love about it.

The only Lipglass I bought was Mimmy.
Mimmy is really not that special.
I swatched it in the store and thought I would like it, and It's just a pink shimmery lipgloss. Not worth it really. I wish I bought the purple one instead, or something from the cream collection D; ... This is also up for swap in my MUA account.

I also acquire a Lip Conditioner in Pink Fish. MMM moisturizing. And a pale pink at that! Totally bought me.

I bought both of the Eyeshadow palettes in Lucky Tom and Too Dolly. Because the colors were sooo pretty lol.
Each of them have a highlighter and dark eyeshadow in it, pretty good idea for someone who wants to make a smokey eye on the go =]
Lucky Tom has this gorgeous dark purple/blue color with shimmer. Also a orange color I can't really explain. I don't have any orange eyeshadows and I really wanted to see how it would look on my eyes and it wasn't too bad ^^ A nice change. I think this is my favorite palette because it also has this nice light gold/shimmery color. Oh so pretty.

Too Dolly has these AMAZING pink and skyblue/turquoise? color. Oh wow It's so vibrant and pretty. Paired together, they look amazing.

I bought both the blushes in Tippy and Fun&Games.

Tippy is a bright pink shimmery blush in the pot, but since it's a beauty powder blush it won't make you look like a clown =] So pretty on pale skintones. Well I like it on my pale skin haha.

Fun&Games is a peachy shimmery blush. Just looks awesome for that nice glow effect.

I bought the beauty powder in Tahitian Sand but returned it because it was really lacking in whatever the heck it was suppose to do. Boo.

Also bought the MAC hello kitty brush set mainly because of the Hello Kitty Cup. It's so chic and cute <3

Anywho I am excited because I have a bargain haul/review.
I love bargains!
Buying high end makeup is worth the price sometimes, but nothing can beat a good money-saving shopping spree. :]

Lipstick Lipstick Lipstick! and quick update =)

Hey I hope you guys had a good valentines day !
I'm veryyy late

Sorry for such a long delay from writing a new post ^^
Between classes, looking for a new job (darn!), and whatnot I've been really wanting to write a new post.
So today I just wanted to share this awesomeeeeeeeee lipstick experience with you guys.

It's the Revlon Matte Lipstick in Nude Attitude and Pink Pout!

These two colors are love<3

Nude Attitude!

If you are like me, and have fairly pigmented lips and are looking for a good nude lipstick, you should definitely try out Nude attitude. The color ... I'd describe it as ... A slight peachy nude.

Paired with dark smokey eyes, this lipstick looks gorgeous on your lips to tone it down.

I've heard people say that this is the dupe for MAC's Myth. I don't know because I don't have that color of lipstick from MAC. All of my lipsticks from MAC are actually from their lustre line. MAC's matte lipsticks are too drying for my lips... (boo) But their lustre lipsticks make up for it just fine.

Don't let my ugly lips distract you from the wonderful color!

The second lipstick I've been using is Pink Pout<3

I love Pink. I love that color, it's my favorite! And I'm always on the look out for a pretty Pink lipstick =)! Pink Pout is a cool blue toned, pale pink color with a hint of mauve. This color is so gorgeous by itself or with a gloss over it. Matte lipsticks gives a good coverage over your lips, and Revlon Matte Lipsticks are great! It's also not chalky on my lips (ohh yes)

I caught these two lipsticks on a BOGO at Walgreens and I believe they are still having it now!

I always wait for a deal for Drugstore makeup!
Because every other week, there will always be some kind of BOGO free, BOGO 1/2 off etc etc.
Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Meijers wherever- they can all afford to sell for wayy less and still make a profit!
So be a smart shopper, especially with the economy now days, and next time you want to have a drugstore haul- wait for a good BOGO deal and what not :] You'll feel a hecka lot better getting a bargain!

Eyes lips face a.k.a. E.L.F.
Many of you online may have heard about this line of cosmetics already!
E.L.F. is known as the $1 makeup brand.
Almost everything from this company is $1! (Excluding mineral and studio products)

When I first heard about this brand I was pretty skeptical to the quality of the products. Everything is $1, it can't be THAT good, so i decided to check some of their products out. There were varying results!

The all over color stick comes in four colors. I bought "Persimmon" This products comes in a case about a size of your thumb. (There isn't much product just about a nail length.) It can be used on your lips, eyes and cheeks and has a big of shimmer. The smell is .. orange-citirus...y.
I really like this product. Persimmon is a light bronze color in a cream form so I use this as a base for my eye shadow :). It also can be used as a base for your cheek, but I really don't use bases for my cheek so Idc :O

I don't know how people use this product. It's very greasy. Ok so like I wanted to do a quick swatch of the color I got (Butter Pecan, cute right?) After I dipped my fingers into the creamy substance and tried to swatch on my hand, barely any got on to my hand. I looked back on my finger to find the greasy residue of the colors! ERRR.... Also, don't be fooled by the colors on the site... The colors are much more darker and have more gray in them in real life.
I suppose you could use these duo eyeshadow "CREAM" as bases for eyeshadow, but good luck trying to get it on your eye. Oh yeah, and if you don't plan o n wearing eye primer, don't even try, you'll crease like hell.

I love this lipgloss. This is probably one of my favorite lipglosses! It is not sticky, and has a creamy texture. I really like the soft colors as well. Everyone who talked about this product (that I've found) lo ved this. I definitely recommend this lipgloss! wooooo

Ok, this is the review for the COMPACT. I love this compact. For being on the normal $1 line, this pro duct has really great packaging! (The blushes and such are clear packaging and you can see the glue). This compact is a great size not too small. ANNND the ins ide is a huge mirror!! It's great for being on the go. The inside consists of 4 empty slots (with magnets) in which you can pick either eyeshadows, face/blush, or lips to put in and make your own little palette! What a cute idea from E.L.F.! =)

NOTE::: The MAC eyeshado ws fit as well. If you want a cheap travel-friendly compact for MAC eyeshadows!! You know now!

The Custom Eyes eyshadow are the only eyeshadows I have gotten for E.L.F. an d for the compac t as well. Ok. These shadows are pigmented. You will get the color if you just dab your brush slightly onto the colors. HOWEVER, these shadows are not pressed as firmly as MAC eyeshadows! They are very very powdery! I bought these in 5 colors (I have 1 extra lying around) Moondust, Golden Glow, Ivory, Pink Ice, and Dusk. I really love these colors , probably because It has the gold/brown/neutral colors I love ! I recommend these eyeshadows for the compact! But remember the warning, they are very powdery so handle with care& use eye primer!

Now I bought this product knowing that it was "good"! lol
This is a product from their st udio line, meaning it was $3 not $1! You can definitely tell that their studio line is suppose to be a lil bit more expensive.
For one, their packaging is very different! Instead of looking cheap, E.L.F. Studio has a black sleek look to it. The product cases also do not smudge very much because they are made of plastic- and are not soft. (That's a plus!)
NOW about the duo colors. The blush is a really pretty coral color with a bit of golden shimmer (very small). This color is very close to the NARS blush Orgasm! The Bronzer was originally there to help "sculp" the face. But we all know, (at least you should!) that you don't want to use colors with shimmer/sparkle/glitter to contour your face! The bronzer is a pretty color though.
This compact is better pressed than the normal $1 line, not as powdery, but still if you press too hard the excess will fly around.
Oh yeah and did I mention that this compact has a huge, great mirror? :) well it does.

Ok this brush, is so soft and packs on eyeshadow color so well it's hard to believe that the brush only costs a $1.
EVERYONE go buy about 2-3 of these brushes (or more). These are DEFINITELY worth the money.
This a full sized eye shadow brush, and wow. It is so perfect, very comparable to my MAC b rushes.
I recommend this so much, do you see all those hearts?
If you aren't sure what to buy from E.L.F. and you see this brush, go put it in your shopping cart right away!!!!

Ok, so most of these products I bought were chosen with much thinking. I know some products in E.L.F. are pretty bad, and I didn't really want to pick an y of the items up because... that's just dumb. Don't waste $$$!

Crocs

I'm so tired.
A 2hr drive to an outlet mall after my classes. (whoopee)
Today I witnessed the Croc store, and I thought to myself "Wow that is a shitload of crocs."
I was fascinated by all the wonderful colors that I found myself forgetting that the colors that I were admiring, were on the weirdest most unappealing shoes (almost) ever made.
Ok so they are cute on little kids... But what ISN'T cute on little kids?

Crocs always reminded me of rain shoes because of their rubbery material.
But those holes! They would be horrible in the rain. (Unless you want your feet to be all gross and nasty).
Anywho, crocs blah blah I have a 8:30AM class. Q Q.
